Why would you want to try to recreate this situation, it was very grave. The teacher was facing potential death. This type of thing will typically happen in an environment that is highly volatile, and yes, "could" happen in a western country, but would probably not face the same harsh "penalties" unless a teacher was to commit a heinous crime against a student. Teachers are "in-charge" of our children, and therefore can be punished for using that power in the wrong way, but certainly not for naming a teddy bear.
