Ends of hairs going outward or inward?

i can't answer why the ends of your hair are doing that...but never brush your hair when it's wet....hair is very fragile when wet and brushing it makes it stretch and break...use a wide tooth comb and comb up from the bottom not from the scalp...your hair is taking longer to dry in the braids because it sounds like it was pretty wet when you braided it..just let it dry more before braiding...also, the larger the braid...the larger the wave, and also the longer that it will take to dry..
